Taking care of your fursuit is one of the most important things
How do I care for it?
Before you put on your fursuit, you can brush it so that the fur doesn’t look tousled, this will make it look much better right away.
After wearing your fursuit, it’s best to disinfect it to prevent odors from forming so it won’t be unpleasant for you and or others.
After wearing the Feetpaws, you should brush them neatly on the underside, otherwise the fur will mat very quickly.
If your fursuit has gotten too dirty and it needs to be washed, here are the instructions for you
Washing by hand
If you have a bathtub at home, soak it in warm water with wool detergent for about 10 minutes and then rinse it with cold water.
If you only have a shower at home, it’s best to fill a box with water and do the same.
To dry it, it is best to place it on a clothes horse and brush it repeatedly during this process so that the fur does not become matted.
In the end, your fursuit should be nice and clean and fluffy again.
Washing in the washing machine
If you’re going to wash your fursuit in the washing machine, put everything in a comforter cover or pillowcase to be on the safe side and run a gentle wash cycle with wool detergent at a low temperature, like 30°C.
Make sure that all zippers are closed.
